ALHN Alaska Marriage Index Database 1745 - 1950

"It is currently a small database of Alaska marriages collected from a variety of sources including birth, marriage, and death records, obituaries, queries, Bible records, genealogies, family group sheets, online databases, pedigree charts, family history articles, letters, wills, biographies, and manuscript genealogies.."

Ship Passenger Lists - the Gleaner (June 11 - July 16, 1899)

Ship Passenger Lists - the Lully C. (July 13 - August 29, 1899)

The Lully C. (possibly Lilly C.) was built at Lake Bennett in 1898 or 1899. Described as a small sternwheel tug, she was run through Miles Canyon in about 1900, and worked bewteen Dawson to Fort Selkirk.

Ship Passenger Lists - the Ruth (June 13 - August 3, 1899)

The Ruth, a 50-foot long sternwheeler, was built at Lake Bennett in 1898. She worked from Bennett to Canyon City and Taku until being destroyed by fire in 1900

Ship Passenger Lists - the Clifford Sifton (June 12 - August 29, 1899)

The Clifford Sifton, a 120-foot long sternwheeler, was built at Bennett in 1898-1899. On July 24, 1900, she was run through Miles Canyon, and worked between Whitehorse and Dawson until 1904, when she was destroyed by ice during spring breakup at Dawson.

The MMS Shipwreck Database provides the most comprehensive compilation of Alaska shipwrecks to date. The database is a list of shipwrecks that have occurred in Alaska from earliest Russian times (1741) to the present compiled from an extensive literature search.
