Handmade Paper

Indian handmade paper is made from cotton. The cotton is ground, flattened, hung to dry, and later cut into size. Some papers have been silk-screened or have natural inclusions, such as flowers or bark, added to them.
Thai handmade paper is made from the yearly growth of Mulberry bark. The bark is made into a mulch and spread over a screen to take their unique texture and left to dry. Some papers have had natural inclusions, such as flower or bark, added to them. The Lace and Milled papers are lightweight like a tissue, while the others are much thicker like a very textured card stock.
